Symphonia Academy of Music
Welcome to Symphonia Academy of Music, where a passion for music meets excellence in education! Originally founded as Sinfonia Academy of Music in 2002, we were dedicated to helping students nurture and refine their instrumental techniques, knowledge, and performance skills. In 2003, we embraced a new chapter by launching our specially designed YoungChild Music Courses (YMC) and rebranding ourselves as Symphonia Academy of Music, aligning with the establishment of Symphonia Child Development Sdn. Bhd.
At Symphonia, we believe that music is a journey best taken in a friendly, encouraging, and stimulating environment. Our experienced instructors are dedicated to fostering confidence and creativity in every student, regardless of their experience level. We offer a wide range of music courses tailored to meet the needs of learners at all stages, including piano, violin, vocal, drums, ukulele, acoustic/classical guitar, and jazz improvisation. For our youngest musicians, we proudly present our YoungChild Music Courses (YMC), featuring: (a) Music For Young Kids (MYK) for ages 3-4, (b) YMC Keyboard Course for ages 4-6.

Piano
Students learn proper finger techniques, music notation, rhythm, and expression through both classical and contemporary pieces. Emphasis is placed on sight-reading and performance skills.
Vocal
Focuses on breathing techniques, pitch accuracy, vocal tone, and confidence in singing. Includes exercises for ear training and performance preparation across various genres.
Ukulele
Covers basic chords, strumming techniques, and simple songs, making it fun and accessible for beginners. Builds a strong musical foundation quickly.
Jazz Improvisation
Develops skills in spontaneous musical creation, understanding jazz theory, scales, modes, and group interaction. Great for intermediate to advanced musicians looking to enhance their creativity.
YMC Keyboard Course for ages 4-6.
A fun and structured introduction to keyboard playing that includes note reading, rhythm, ear training, solfege singing, creative listening, and ensemble activities to build musical foundations.
Violin
Covers posture, bowing techniques, intonation, and reading sheet music. Students progress through scales, classical pieces, and ensemble playing.
Drums
Teaches rhythm patterns, coordination, drum notation, and techniques for different musical styles like rock, pop, and jazz. Great for building timing and groove.
Acoustics/ Classical Guitar
Students learn fingerstyle and strumming, chord progression, reading tablature and classical notation. Emphasis on both classical pieces and modern songs.

Music For Young Kids (MYK) – Ages 3–4
Introduces music through singing, movement, rhythm games, and playful instrument exploration to develop listening, coordination, and basic musical concepts.
